Doddington Hall is a Jacobean house open to the public with a recently renovated kitchen garden & new farm shop, cafe & butchery. The brief was to design for a courtyard garden leading out from the farm shop, which included areas for family eating as well as for exhibitions. Plants of traditional culinary & medicinal use were used, including roses, artichokes, sages & less well known herbs favoured by apothecary such as Hyssop.
