As Founder and Design Director of Topio, Panni leads the creative vision behind every project, shaping landscapes and environments that are designed around experience rather than aesthetics alone. His approach is rooted in a simple philosophy: creating spaces that evoke a feeling.

As Panni explains:

"If I had to describe my approach to design in one word, I'd say crafting an atmosphere."
 

Rather than starting with materials, features or planting palettes, Panni begins by understanding how clients want to feel in a space. One of the first questions he asks is:

"Where would you like to be when you're in this space?"
 

It's a question that often catches people off guard. Yet the answer reveals far more than discussions about paving, furniture or planting ever could. Whether a client is drawn to the relaxed elegance of a luxury coastal retreat, the warmth of Mediterranean living, the character of a country garden or the tranquillity of a Japanese landscape, the goal is never to recreate those places exactly. Instead, Panni focuses on capturing the qualities people connect with and translating them into a space that feels uniquely their own.

He believes gardens and landscapes have the power to do far more than simply look attractive.

"A garden can transport you. It can help you slow down, switch off, entertain, recharge, or simply enjoy being outside."
 

This philosophy underpins every Topio project. Through thoughtful spatial planning, carefully selected materials and expertly considered planting, Panni creates environments that support wellbeing, encourage connection and provide a genuine sense of escape from everyday life.

With a background in landscape and planting design, he views planting as one of the most powerful tools for shaping atmosphere. Structure, texture, biodiversity and seasonal interest are considered from the outset, with planting integrated into the overall design rather than treated as a finishing touch. Working closely with Topio's Horticultural Consultant, Bryony, every scheme is rigorously refined to ensure planting performs beautifully and matures successfully over time.

Panni's design philosophy extends beyond landscapes into workplace, healthcare and commercial environments, where the same principles apply. Understanding how people move through a space, how it functions and, most importantly, how it makes them feel remains central to every project.

 As Topio's Horticultural Consultant, Bryony provides the specialist plant knowledge that helps transform ambitious landscape designs into thriving, enduring outdoor spaces. Working alongside Panni throughout the design process, she reviews and refines planting concepts in meticulous detail, ensuring every species, combination and seasonal interest has been carefully considered. Their collaborative approach combines creative vision with horticultural expertise, resulting in planting schemes that are both beautiful and expertly resolved.

Bryony's role extends across planting design, species selection, biodiversity enhancement, landscape establishment and long-term horticultural management, as well as hosting her own gardening podcast (Link in Collaborations/Promotions). Her technical knowledge ensures that Topio's landscapes are not only visually striking upon completion but continue to develop and mature successfully for years to come.

A highly respected horticultural professional, Bryony has contributed to some of the UK's most prestigious landscape projects, including serving as Plant Manager for a Gold Medal-winning Main Avenue Show Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. This experience reflects her exceptional understanding of plants, attention to detail and ability to deliver planting schemes at the highest level.

Andreas serves as Topio's Project Construction Manager, bringing together technical expertise, practical experience, and a keen eye for quality. A fully qualified electrician by trade, he plays a key role in turning design concepts into carefully delivered realities, overseeing projects from construction through to completion. Working closely with Panni and the wider team, Andreas ensures that every element is delivered to a high standard, balancing craftsmanship, functionality, and attention to detail.

His experience spans residential renovations, construction management, electrical installation, and project coordination, giving him a comprehensive understanding of how successful projects come together on site. Andreas' ability to bridge the gap between design intent and practical execution helps ensure that Topio's projects not only look exceptional but are built with precision, longevity, and usability in mind.

Alongside his professional work, Andreas has built a successful following as a renovation content creator, documenting projects and sharing the realities of transforming properties from concept to completion. His passion for construction, problem solving, and craftsmanship has earned him an engaged audience that values his honest approach and practical knowledge.
