How does it work?

 Our initial free consultation allows us to explore your garden together and go over your specific needs. This is a great chance to discuss your vision and how you plan to use your outdoor space. A crucial aspect of the design process is ensuring harmony between your home and garden, and most importantly, understanding the budget you have in mind for the project. Following this meeting, we will compile a detailed brief outlining all key points from our discussion. Once you’ve reviewed and approved the brief, we can begin the design phase. 

 After finalizing the brief, we will schedule another visit to assess the garden in detail. This involves measuring the space, noting its orientation, existing features, elevation changes, and other key elements such as soil type. For larger or more complex plots, we may bring in an independent surveyor to conduct a precise site survey. 

 A hand rendered drawing will be presented to you, the client, alongside a mood board to assist with visualisation. The mood board helps to communicate the overall style of the proposed garden design and may illustrate material choices, an indication of planting style and feature items. 

After our meeting and discussions, your feedback is taken into consideration to develop the design; this includes two rounds of amendments to the original design.

 After finalising the design layout and selecting materials, a dedicated plan will be created for the garden’s planting scheme. To help visualise the chosen plants, a mood board will be used, ensuring the selections complement your garden’s aspect and soil conditions. A detailed quote will then be provided for sourcing and implementing the planting scheme. 

  We collaborate with a trusted network of landscapers who can provide quotes for the landscaping work. However, if you have a preferred landscaper, we are happy to work alongside them.Throughout the build, we will conduct regular site visits to address any questions and ensure everything is progressing smoothly. Once the build is complete, the planting will take place and your new garden will come to life.  

We will arrange a follow-up visit in six months to assess the progress of the plants.
